Bilateral non-oil trade between the UAE and the European Union (EU) reached $67.6bn in 2024, marking a 3.6% increase from the previous year.
This growth highlights the strengthening economic relationship between the two parties, with the EU now accounting for 8.3% of the UAE’s total non-oil foreign trade.
A UAE delegation recently visited Brussels for high-level discussions with EU officials and members of the Belgian government, aiming to explore new investment opportunities and deepen collaboration.
The EU remains the UAE’s second-largest global trade partner, with both sides seeing continued growth in strategic sectors such as food security, energy transition, and technology.
