Dubai welcomes 9.88m visitors in Q1 2025

Dubai recorded 9.88 million international overnight visitors between January and June 2025, marking a 6% increase year-on-year. This is according to data from the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET).

The growth reflects the success of Dubai’s destination strategy which combines strong public-private partnerships with targeted global marketing campaigns. The city’s appeal was further boosted by new attractions, major events, and outreach in key markets.

DET’s collaboration with over 3,000 local and international partners helped drive visitor numbers from key regions, reinforcing Dubai’s position as one of the world’s top travel and business destinations.
