Beehive and Themar partner to expand SME financing in Saudi Arabia

Beehive has signed a non-binding offer letter with Saudi crowdfunding platform Themar to expand regulated SME lending in the Kingdom. The proposed partial merger and acquisition aims to establish Beehive as a regulated fintech lender in Saudi Arabia.

The partnership will combine Beehive’s digital lending technology and regional experience with Themar’s local regulatory framework and market expertise, enabling broader access to Shariah-compliant financing for small and medium-sized enterprises.

SMEs are a key pillar of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to increase private-sector participation and economic diversification. Beehive has facilitated more than USD 1 billion in SME financing across the GCC, while Themar connects investors with businesses seeking compliant funding solutions.
