Arada has awarded two construction contracts worth AED 2 billion for new residential blocks within its flagship Aljada development in Sharjah, as demand for homes across its projects continues to accelerate.
The contracts cover the construction of 14 residential buildings comprising 2,210 homes. Work will include five Nesba buildings on East Boulevard and five Safa buildings on West Boulevard, with construction managed by China Tiesiju Civil Engineering Group.
Another contract covering The Gate blocks 3–6 at the southern entrance of the development has been awarded to Mohammed Abdulmohsin Al Kharafi and Sons. Construction is expected to take 26 months, with handovers scheduled for the second quarter of 2028.
The awards come as Arada reported a sharp increase in sales in 2025, with transactions tripling to AED17.3 billion and unit sales rising to 5,140 homes.
Spanning roughly 24 million square feet, Aljada is a AED 35 billion master-planned community expected to deliver more than 25,000 homes and accommodate around 20,000 residents once completed.
