Alpha Dhabi commits USD 1bn to Alpha Wave III AI fund

Abu Dhabi investment holding company Alpha Dhabi Holding has committed UD 1 billion (AED 3.67 billion) to Alpha Wave III, a global investment fund managed by Alpha Wave Global.

The commitment deepens the Abu Dhabi-listed group’s exposure to AI, a theme that has already lifted its results. In the first half of 2026, Alpha Dhabi reported net profit of AED 9.8 billion, up 48% year on year, with fair value gains of AED 3.7 billion driven by stakes in SpaceX, Cerebras and Anthropic. Its earlier commitment to Alpha Wave Ventures II was valued at AED 14.3 billion at the end of June.

Alpha Wave Global, the Miami-based manager, is 50.1% owned by Abu Dhabi’s Judan Financial following a deal completed in March. The fund’s strategy, other investors and any further terms beyond the headline commitment were not available at the time of writing.
