Dubai luxury transport sector growing fast

Dubai’s luxury transport sector saw a 44% increase in 2024, with over 43.4 million trips taken, compared to 30.2 million in 2023. Luxury transport services in Dubai carried a total of 75.6 million passengers in 2024 which was up from 52.6 million the previous year. E-hail services saw a 32% rise, with trips climbing to 32.6 million in 2024, up from 24.6 million in 2023.

This data, from the Dubai Media Office, shows a surge marking the highest growth in recent years for the city’s luxury transport services, primarily through e-hail platforms.

The sector’s expansion reflects Dubai’s strategic efforts to enhance mobility solutions, aligned with the vision of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). The increase in luxury transport usage also highlights the city’s growing appeal as a global hub for investment and tourism.

This growth demonstrates Dubai’s commitment to meeting the increasing mobility needs of both residents and visitors, while further cementing its status as a global transportation leader.
