Dubai is close to tier-one city status

Dubai is rapidly advancing towards full tier-one global city recognition, with industry consensus indicating it could join the ranks of London, New York and Singapore within the next decade.

A recent report from Forbes Global Properties places the emirate fifth among seven leading international cities. It came in second place for infrastructure, third for international appeal, and fourth for quality of life.

These results indicate that Dubai is close to full tier-1 city status. This confidence is rooted in the city’s world-class infrastructure, safety, strong governance and regulatory frameworks as Dubai transitions from a rapid-growth market to one defined by stable, mature expansion.
