Decision close for Dubai self-driving challenge

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has revealed the finalists for the 4th Dubai World Challenge for Self-Driving Transport 2025. Five organisations (consortiums and companies) have advanced to the final stage.

Participants were tasked with designing a model district that integrates multiple transport modes, allowing residents to choose from a variety of tailored, high-quality options. The initiative aims to establish a global benchmark for autonomous urban transport systems, with the winners to be announced at the Dubai World Trade Centre in September.

This challenge highlights Dubai’s ongoing leadership in promoting innovative mobility solutions and reinforces the city’s vision of integrating cutting-edge transport technologies into its urban infrastructure.
