Bahrain’s Fintech Forward 2026 concluded on October 8 at Exhibition World Bahrain with more than 60 memorandums of understanding, strategic agreements and announcements spanning digital payments, trade finance, artificial intelligence and financial infrastructure.
Hosted by the Bahrain Economic Development Board and programmed by Forbes Middle East, the four-day forum drew over 2,900 local and international participants and more than 40 speakers under the theme Finance in the Age of Intelligent Infrastructure.
Organisers reported a 65% rise in announcements and signings on the previous edition, which recorded 38 agreements and around 2,000 attendees. Among the headline deals, payments operator BENEFIT named National Bank of Bahrain as anchor banking partner in a trade finance registry pilot built with Singapore-based MonetaGo and Bahrain FinTech Bay.
