Arada has awarded a construction contract worth over $500m to Dubai-based United Engineering Construction Company (UNEC) for Madar Mall, the flagship retail and entertainment hub at the Aljada megaproject in Sharjah. Work begins immediately, with completion set for December 2028.
Madar Mall will span 3.9 million sq feet and feature more than 400 shops, 80 dining outlets, an 11-screen cinema, an ice rink, a fitness centre, and a central observation tower with a restaurant.
Designed as the anchor attraction of Aljada’s Madar district, the project aims to create a landmark leisure and lifestyle destination for Sharjah and the wider UAE.
