Abu Dhabi’s population surged 7.5% in 2024

New data from the Statistics Centre – Abu Dhabi (SCAD) show Abu Dhabi’s population grew by 7.5% in 2024, reaching 4,135,985 people. Over the past decade, the emirate’s population has almost doubled from 2.7 million in 2014.

This growth rate outpaces many established international financial centres, highlighting Abu Dhabi’s rising appeal to global professionals, investors, and businesses.

This remarkable population growth underscores Abu Dhabi’s rapid transformation into a leading global hub for opportunity, innovation, and economic vitality.
