The UAE is participating in the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi, with its membership generating measurable trade momentum.
Non-oil foreign trade between the UAE and BRICS countries exceeded USD 312 billion in 2025, up from USD 243 billion in 2024 – a 28.5% increase – with BRICS nations accounting for around 31% of the UAE's total non-oil foreign trade.
China and India lead the UAE's trade within the group: non-oil trade with China reached USD 111.5 billion in 2025, a 24.5% increase, while trade with India stood at AED 107.5 billion in the first half of 2026 alone. Trade with Russia reached USD 20.4 billion in 2025, a 77.7% increase year-on-year.
