The UAE has ranked among the world’s top 10 countries for AI-driven resilience in the newly released Industry 5.0 Index, placing ninth globally.
The index evaluates 92 countries on their ability to deploy advanced technologies, including AI and clean energy, to deliver benefits beyond productivity and profit, with a focus on societal wellbeing and long-term resilience.
The Industry 5.0 Index measures readiness for the next phase of industrial development, which prioritises human-centric innovation, sustainability, and economic resilience. According to the report, advancements linked to Industry 5.0 could contribute up to $1 trillion annually to global GDP.
