Meraas, part of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has awarded a $517m construction contract to United Engineering Construction (UNEC) for The Acres, a new standalone villa community in Dubai.
The contract covers the first phase of development, including 642 villas and supporting community facilities, with completion scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2027.
Sustainability features are central to the project’s design, with the development already securing LEED Gold Pre-Certification for Cities & Communities.
