UAE-based immersive video platform Vuz has secured $12m in a pre-Series C funding round to support its growth in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and beyond.
The round was led by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), with additional backing from Al Jazira Capital, CrossWork VC’s Success Fund, and several Saudi family offices. IFC’s involvement highlights its growing interest in consumer tech across emerging markets.
Formerly known as 360Vuz, the platform offers 360-degree video content accessible via apps, VR headsets and smart TVs. Vuz has secured exclusive streaming partnerships with major sports organisations such as La Liga and the Professional Fighters League.
The latest funding will accelerate its regional expansion and enhance its offerings in the growing immersive media space.
