G42, Cerebras Systems and the Institute of Foundation Models at Mohamed bin Zayed University of AI have launched K2 Think V2, a 70-billion parameter reasoning system built on the K2-V2 base model.
Designed for advanced AI reasoning, the new system is fully open-source, covering the entire development process from pre-training data and curation to post-training alignment and evaluation.
The release represents a significant step for the UAE’s technological sovereignty, offering a system that is more transparent, capable, and independent than previous iterations. The system is intended to support a wide range of AI applications, strengthening the country’s capacity for innovation in high-end AI research and deployment.
