UAE passport gets stronger in 2025

The UAE has solidified its position as a leading global passport, ranked among the top 10 most powerful passports in the world, according to the just-released 2025 Henley Passport Index.

The index ranks passports based on the number of destinations holders can access without requiring a prior visa. The UAE passport now offers visa-free access to 182 destinations worldwide, making it one of the fastest-growing passports in terms of global mobility.

The UAE’s rise is part of a broader trend of growth in the Middle East, with the country’s strategic diplomatic efforts significantly expanding its travel freedoms. While Singapore holds the top spot with access to 195 destinations, the UAE has demonstrated a remarkable leap over the past decade, with a significant increase in the number of countries its citizens can visit without a visa.

Other countries in the top 10 include Japan, South Korea, and several EU nations. The UAE’s position among global powerhouses underscores the success of its international relations and its commitment to enhancing its citizens' global mobility.
