The UAE has been ranked the world’s most advanced market for digital trade readiness, according to Standard Chartered’s latest ‘Future of Trade: Digitisation’ report.
The study surveyed 1,200 multinational corporations across seventeen markets and found that 97% of UAE corporates view cloud computing as essential to their digital transformation. This was the highest rate globally.
The findings highlight strong support for global digital trade alignment, with 96% of UAE firms backing expanded Digital Economy Agreements, reinforcing the country’s position as a global benchmark for digital trade innovation.
