UAE hospital reaches top digital healthcare standard

Fakeeh University Hospital in Dubai has become the UAE’s first healthcare facility to achieve the HIMSS EMRAM Stage 7 accreditation, the highest global benchmark for digital transformation in hospitals.

The recognition places the hospital among a select group of medical institutions worldwide that have fully integrated electronic medical records and reached paperless clinical operations.

Stage 7 accreditation reflects the seamless use of advanced technology such as real-time data, automation and AI to support clinical decision-making, enhance patient safety and improve efficiency. The milestone highlights the UAE’s growing role as a leader in health innovation.
