The UAE has ranked among the world’s top 10 nations for soft power in 2026, reinforcing its growing international influence and economic appeal.
According to the Global Soft Power Index 2026, the country placed 10th overall, making it the only Arab nation in the global top 10 for the fourth consecutive year. The UAE ranked second globally for giving, third for future economic growth opportunities, and eighth for influence within international diplomatic circles.
The index evaluates countries across 55 metrics, measuring their ability to shape global perceptions and behaviour through attraction, credibility, and engagement.
