UAE boosts circular economy

The UAE Independent Climate Change Accelerators (UICCA) has signed an agreement with the UAE Ministry of Economy (MOEC) to promote the country’s circular economy – a more sustainable system of production and consumption.

The collaboration aims to drive sustainable economic growth by creating an ecosystem for climate-focused startups.

This initiative underscores both organisations’ commitment to supporting the growth of sustainable businesses and aligning with the UAE’s Net Zero goals. By encouraging an ecosystem for green innovation, the partnership aims to accelerate the transition to a more sustainable economy.

Applications for the program are now open through the registration portal and invite local, regional and international startups to apply. Selected participants will benefit from mentorship and investor engagement opportunities.
