The UAE hosted a high-level ministerial roundtable in Dubai with more than 20 African nations, resulting in a joint statement outlining a new investment map aimed at strengthening partnerships across tourism, aviation, logistics, infrastructure and digital transformation.
Announced during the UAE-Africa Tourism Investment Summit 2025, the initiative highlights nearly $6bn worth of projects proposed by participating countries, with the potential to create 70,000 job opportunities across the African continent.
Ministers also reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing air connectivity, facilitating investment flows and building sustainable policies that support the resilience of the tourism sector across Africa and the UAE.
