Saudi Arabia has secured fifth place worldwide and the top position in the Arab region for AI sector growth, according to the Global AI Index.
The latest ranking reflects steady progress in building national capabilities and strengthening the country’s competitive standing in line with Vision 2030. These efforts have expanded the Kingdom’s AI capacity across multiple sectors and supported the creation of new digital services.
Among the initiatives assessed was the Rowad Package, designed to support entrepreneurs and early-stage companies by enabling secure verification of customer data through electronic links to the National Information Centre.
