The UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has released its latest report highlighting the UAE’s achievement of a 98.86% score in the International Civil Aviation Organization’s Universal Safety Oversight Audit Program.
The UAE now has one of the highest rankings globally and the report attributes this success to rigorous oversight, continuous investment in human capital, adoption of advanced technology, and strict alignment with international best practices.
Under the UAE’s National Aviation Safety Plan (2023–2026), the GCAA has prioritised reducing operational risks, strengthening oversight, and fostering a strong safety culture.
