Public-private partnership drives Dubai logistics platform

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has partnered with TruKKer, a leading digital logistics platform, to launch Logisty, a cutting-edge initiative aimed at transforming the freight transport sector and solidifying Dubai’s status as a key logistics hub in the region.

The platform is designed to streamline operations by connecting customers with commercial transport providers, offering on-demand booking, real-time tracking, and fleet management services. The standout feature is its AI-powered CBM Calculator, enabling users to estimate shipment volumes with photos or videos, simplifying the logistics process while enhancing efficiency and accuracy.

Logisty aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), which seeks to position Dubai among the top three global economic cities, as well as the Dubai Commercial Road Transport and Logistics Strategy 2030. These initiatives aim to double the logistics sector’s direct contribution to the economy by advancing technological integration by 75% and improving operational efficiency by 10%.

Scheduled to launch this month, the platform is poised to reshape logistics in Dubai. It reflects a commitment to using technology to enhance transparency, security, and efficiency in freight transport. By promoting innovation and strengthening private-public collaboration, Logisty underscores Dubai’s vision for sustained economic growth.

This initiative marks a significant step towards the digital transformation of the transport and logistics sector, setting new benchmarks for operational excellence and reinforcing Dubai’s role as a regional logistics leader.
