Global investors, entrepreneurs, skilled professionals and financiers can take advantage of the ‘business opportunities visa’ to explore UAE-based opportunities. The invitation to apply was extended by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP), and is expected to attract entrepreneurs from around the world.
To qualify for the visa, applicants must meet four key criteria: They should be qualified professionals in the field they intend to explore in the UAE; hold a passport valid for at least six months; have health insurance coverage in the UAE; and have a confirmed onward or return ticket.
The visa has options for either single or multiple entries as well as flexible validity of 60, 90, or 120 days – with a 180-day stay limit. This initiative aims to reinforce the UAE’s position as a premier business hub.
