The Dubai Centre for Family Businesses has introduced two specialised toolkits designed to help family-run enterprises manage disputes and strengthen internal relationships.
The first toolkit is ‘Using genograms to navigate family business dynamics’ which highlights how genograms can provide deeper insights into the intricate relationships influencing business operations. Unlike a standard family tree, a genogram maps intergenerational connections, taking into consideration emotional, social and professional ties.
The second toolkit is ‘Conflict resolution mechanism’ which offers a structured approach to handling disputes within family businesses, providing practical strategies for resolving conflicts arising from differing perspectives or interests.
By equipping family enterprises with these resources, the Dubai Centre for Family Businesses seeks to enhance governance and long-term stability in this vital sector of the economy.
