MoU strengthens US-Dubai trade ties

Dubai Chambers has signed a memorandum of understanding with the US Chamber of Commerce to enhance trade relations and create stronger economic ties between their respective business communities.

Under the agreement, Dubai Chambers will assist US Chamber members in establishing and expanding their operations in the emirate, offering services to streamline the investment process. In return, the US Chamber will support Dubai-based businesses looking to enter the American market, while also organising business networking events.

As of late 2023, total UAE investment in the US surpassed $35bn which accounted for over half of all FDI from Arab nations in the US at that time. Meanwhile, by the end of 2022 American investments in the UAE exceeded $5bn.
