Mid East tourism to reach $350bn by 2030

Tourism spending across the Middle East is set to increase to nearly $350bn by 2030, according to new projections released in the ATM Travel Trends Report 2025.

The findings highlight strong momentum in the region’s travel sector, with spending expected to surpass 2019 levels by 54% in 2025 alone. Annual growth in tourism spend is projected to exceed 7% through to the end of the decade.

Key drivers of this growth include a rebound in business travel, rising demand for luxury experiences, and a sharp increase in regional sports tourism. The report also reflects broader global shifts shaping the travel industry, as the Middle East continues to position itself as a major player in the international tourism landscape.
