Manchester City Yas Residences records USD 1.6bn sales in 72 hours

Ohana Development has reported record demand for its Manchester City Yas Residences project in Abu Dhabi, generating AED 6 billion (USD 1.63 billion) in sales within 72 hours of launch. The waterfront development along Yas Canal has attracted strong interest from both local and international investors.

The buyer profile reflects broad market appeal, with 35% of purchases from Emirati investors and 65% from expatriate and overseas buyers. According to the developer, the response highlights growing confidence in Abu Dhabi’s luxury real estate sector.

The master-planned community spans around 1.67 million square metres and includes sports facilities, landscaped green spaces, waterfront retail and dining, and marina-based leisure amenities designed around active living.

The development strengthens Abu Dhabi’s position as a high-end property investment destination, with the company planning to release additional units following the strong initial demand.
