KSA addresses labour market challenges

Saudi Arabia has been recognised for its leadership in addressing labour market challenges and advancing workforce development, according to a recent report from the Global Labor Market Conference (GLMC).

The report highlights Saudi Arabia’s proactive approach to upskilling and requalifying its workforce, aimed at reducing unemployment and fostering economic resilience. It underscores the Kingdom’s focus on adapting to demographic changes and rapid technological advancements.

Key initiatives include ongoing education and targeted training programs which bridge the gap between academic qualifications and market needs, preparing young professionals for future opportunities. The report emphasises the Kingdom’s dedication to creating a sustainable labour market that promotes long-term prosperity while addressing both domestic and international challenges.

The GLMC’s next conference is set for January 2025 in Riyadh and aligns with Saudi Vision 2030’s focus on economic diversification, job creation, and enhancing workforce competitiveness.
