KKR has secured a commitment from ALTÉRRA to expand its Global Climate Transition Strategy, targeting investments across energy, infrastructure and decarbonisation.
ALTÉRRA, a USD 30 billion UAE-backed platform launched in 2023, is focused on deploying capital into climate solutions that support low-carbon, resilient economies. The partnership strengthens KKR’s ability to scale investments across North America, Europe and Asia.
KKR has already made seven climate-focused investments under the strategy, spanning transport electrification, energy services and solar development.
The move reflects rising demand for capital in electrification and industrial decarbonisation, as global investors accelerate funding toward energy transition infrastructure.
