KEZAD Group launches AED 112m SME hub in Abu Dhabi with 175 industrial units

Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD) Group has announced the development of a purpose-built SME Hub at KEZAD Al Ma'mourah, representing an investment of AED 112 million.

Scheduled for handover before the end of 2026, the 25,260-square-metre facility comprises 175 flexible Micro Industrial Units starting from 100 square metres, alongside a dedicated business centre and access to KEZAD's on-site infrastructure and support services.

Positioned as a bridge between early-stage SME incubators and full-scale industrial market facilities, the hub offers direct connectivity to Khalifa Port and Etihad Rail, with more than 75% of the UAE's urban areas accessible within a 90-minute drive.

SMEs account for 98% of businesses in Abu Dhabi, contribute approximately 43% of the emirate's non-oil GDP, and employ 46% of its workforce. Alongside the hub announcement, KEZAD signed an MoU with Emirates Growth Fund to combine industrial infrastructure with growth capital for high-potential UAE-based SMEs.
