IHC expands global footprint with USD 1.4bn hospitality acquisition

A unit of International Holding Company (IHC) has acquired a majority stake in British businessman Richard Caring’s hospitality empire in a deal valued at over USD 1.4 billion, according to the Financial Times.

The portfolio includes premium brands such as The Ivy and Annabel’s, alongside Caprice Holdings’ luxury dining assets.

Caring will remain executive chair, leading international expansion with IHC affiliate Diafa, as the group deepens its exposure to high-end global hospitality.

The move aligns with IHC’s broader diversification strategy, building on recent investments including a USD 1 billion stake in India’s Sammaan Capital.

With a market capitalisation exceeding USD 230 billion, IHC continues to scale internationally, positioning luxury hospitality as a key pillar of its global growth strategy.
