Saudi Arabia's PIF-owned AI company Humain has awarded contracts to Riyadh-listed Al Moammar Information Systems Company (MIS) for the construction of data centres totalling 200MW of capacity, in addition to an existing 50MW project already underway, quadrupling Humain's total footprint to 250MW.
The deal's value was not disclosed, but MIS confirmed it exceeds 689% of its total 2025 revenue of SAR 1.3 billion, implying a contract worth in excess of SAR 9 billion. Engineering, procurement, and construction work is set to commence shortly, with contracts expected to be formally executed within a fortnight.
The announcement follows Humain's collaboration with Microsoft to distribute its Allam Arabic-language large language model globally, and arrives as consultancy Alvarez & Marsal estimates Saudi Arabia's AI and cloud expansion will require up to USD 42 billion in project capital by 2030. The Kingdom's installed data centre capacity is forecast to grow from 410MW to 1GW by 2030 under base-case projections.
