Emirati women invested AED 2.7 billion in Sharjah's real estate market between January and August 2026, spanning 3,385 properties and involving 3,737 investors, according to figures released by the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department to coincide with Emirati Women's Day.
The number of women investors rose 4.2% year-on-year from 3,586 in the same period of 2025, while the number of properties traded grew 1.9% from 3,322 and transaction value edged up 1.2% from AED 2.6 billion.
The data underscores the expanding role of Emirati women in the emirate's property sector and their confidence in its legislative environment, with the figures aligned with the National Strategy for Empowerment of Emirati Women (2023–2031).
The results sit within a broader picture of strong UAE investor activity in Sharjah, where Emirati investors owned 22,599 properties during H1 2026 and accounted for 50.6% of the emirate's total real estate trading value of AED 29.5 billion.
