Emirates adopts Airbus predictive maintenance

Emirates has entered into an agreement with Airbus to implement the Skywise Fleet Performance+ predictive maintenance and fleet health monitoring system, alongside the Core X3 analytics platform.

The technology enables real-time monitoring of aircraft performance and health, allowing engineering teams to detect potential issues mid-flight and take proactive maintenance measures during turnarounds.

It also includes automated pre-departure monitoring, advanced analytics for key systems, and integration with the Aircraft Condition Monitoring System (ACMS) for real-time diagnostics. Meanwhile, the Core X3 platform enhances data management by integrating multiple systems, offering a streamlined interface for real-time operational insights.

This move aligns with the airline’s commitment to operational excellence and enhanced safety, with the adoption expected to boost aircraft dispatch reliability and assist data-driven decision-making for Emirates’ Airbus A380 and A350 fleets.
