Dubai-based startup Halo AI has been named one of the winners of L’Oréal’s 2025 SAPMENA Big Bang Beauty Tech Innovation Program, the region’s largest competition for beauty technology.
The competition drew more than 50,000 scouted startups, with finalists presenting in Singapore before judges from L’Oréal, Google, Meta and Veros Ventures. Halo AI was selected alongside winners from Australia and India, highlighting the UAE’s growing prominence in global beauty-tech innovation.
As part of the programme, Halo AI will move into a commercial pilot with L’Oréal and gain year-long mentorship from senior leaders across L’Oréal, Google, Meta and Accenture, with the potential to scale its technology across 35 markets.
