Dubai has unveiled the Sports Sector Strategic Plan 2033, a roadmap designed to elevate the emirate’s position as a global sporting hub and increase the sector’s annual GDP contribution to $5bn.
The plan outlines 19 programmes centred on community participation, talent development, infrastructure enhancement, and international competitiveness.
It also sets out targets to expand participation in sports, strengthen collaboration between public and private entities, and develop facilities that meet international standards.
