Dubai has ranked first in the Middle East and eighth globally in the new 2024 Global Power City Index (GPCI). The index was published by the Mori Memorial Foundation which focuses on conducting research and publishing insights in the fields of urban renewal and development, aiming to design urban environments that support sustainable living.
The Index evaluates cities based on economy, research and development, cultural interaction, liveability, environment, and accessibility. Dubai is the only Middle Eastern city featured in the top 10, reflecting its ability to attract businesses, investors, and talent while consistently setting new standards in urban innovation and connectivity.
The ranking further cements Dubai as a leader when it comes to investments in quality of life, urban resilience, and economic diversification.
