Dubai will host a major international gathering in 2026 bringing together global AI thought leaders from a range of disciplines including academia, technology, and business.
The event is titled ‘AI@70: Towards a Global Humanity’ and will form part of Dubai AI Week 2026 marking the 70th anniversary of the landmark Dartmouth Workshop, widely recognised as the founding moment of AI as a discipline. The Dubai event will be officially supported by Dartmouth College and will focus on the philosophical and ethical questions shaping the future of AI.
Held at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), the conference will also introduce the Humanity Lab, an eight-week incubator hosted at the new Dubai AI Campus. Inspired by the original Dartmouth meetings, the lab aims to unite artists, technologists and philosophers to pioneer AI products that reflect humanity’s changing relationship with machines.
