Dubai steps up focus on ESG reporting

Dubai Chamber of Commerce organised a virtual workshop on sustainability reporting, highlighting its role in enhancing transparency around environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards.

The session was hosted by the chamber’s Centre for Responsible Business and was attended by 147 representatives from private sector companies. The forum explored how sustainability reporting helps businesses demonstrate ESG performance, manage risks, and engage with stakeholders while driving competitiveness. Participants received an overview of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce ESG label, launched last year to help companies assess their readiness.

The Centre for Responsible Business plays a key role in promoting sustainable business practices in Dubai, supporting companies with the tools and expertise needed to integrate ESG principles into their operations.
