Dubai Residential REIT has acquired 220 townhouses in Jebel Ali Village through a forward purchase agreement originally executed in May 2025, valued at AED 894 million.
The acquisition comprises a mix of three- and four-bedroom townhouses within a family-focused community, adding to the REIT's portfolio of rental income-generating assets. The deal follows the REIT's earlier acquisition of 56 villas in the Garden View Villas community in March, with the combined Jebel Ali Village and Garden View Villas assets projected to contribute approximately AED75 million in additional annual revenue.
Dubai Residential REIT is a Sharia-compliant, income-generating, closed-ended real estate investment fund managed by DHAM REIT Management, a subsidiary of Dubai Holding, and is listed on the Dubai Financial Market.
The acquisition underscores continued institutional appetite for stabilised residential rental assets in Dubai, as REITs expand their footprint across the emirate's family housing segment to capture sustained tenant demand.
