Dubai real estate completes 104 projects worth AED 111bn in H1 2026

Dubai's real estate sector completed 104 projects in the first half of 2026, a 38.7% jump from 75 in the same period last year, according to Dubai Land Department data.

Total investment value surged 52% year-on-year to exceed AED 111 billion, up from AED 73 billion in H1 2025. Residential supply expanded sharply, with new unit completions rising 36% to 24,537 – against 18,043 in H1 2025 – while total built-up area grew 23.4% to 1.95 million square metres.

Among the standout figures, land values allocated to completed projects soared 135% to AED 19.46 billion, and total land area more than doubled to one million square metres from 484,000 square metres a year earlier. The results align with Dubai Economic Agenda D33 targets to double the size of the emirate's economy by 2033 and cement its position among the world's top three cities for investment.
