The Dubai Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Trade, has hosted a workshop focused on the role of the UAE’s Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreements (CEPAs) in boosting the local services export sector.
The event brought together representatives from Business Groups within the service industries to explore how these agreements are creating new commercial and investment opportunities.
The workshop outlined the benefits of CEPAs in enhancing the global competitiveness of UAE-based service providers across sectors such as business services, communications, engineering, healthcare, education, tourism, finance, and more. Participants gained insights into how these agreements facilitate international expansion by offering improved market access, reduced or eliminated customs duties, streamlined procedures, and transparent regulations.
