Dubai boosts creative economy with LinkedIn

Dubai Culture and Arts Authority has achieved significant milestones in developing the UAE’s creative economy through a long-standing partnership with LinkedIn, launched in 2020.

Originally established during the COVID-19 lockdown to support creative professionals facing disruption, the initiative has evolved into a key driver of professional development in the sector. Over the past five years, the programme has facilitated 53,500 course completions, 265,000 educational video views, and over 16,800 hours of learning.

The initiative has also contributed to a 175% increase in UAE-based creative professionals on LinkedIn from 2022 to 2025, outpacing the global growth rate of 104%.
