A new initiative seeks to turn Dubai into an open-air art gallery, blending sustainable urban development with public art projects. The goal is to enrich the quality of life in the emirate and solidify its status as a global destination as well as a hub for creativity and culture.
The project is based on an MoU between The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) and Dubai Municipality as a way to enhance the city’s visual identity and artistic experiences in public spaces and residential neighbourhoods.
This initiative supports the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, which prioritises sustainable, people-centred urban development and aims to position Dubai as a global centre for culture, talent, and innovation.
