du and Open Innovation AI partner to deploy sovereign agentic AI infrastructure across UAE

Du and Open Innovation AI have signed an MoU to accelerate the adoption of sovereign agentic AI across UAE government entities and enterprises, with the UAE Cyber Security Council as a co-orchestrator of the agreement.

The partnership integrates du Tech's CSC-certified National Hypercloud platform with Open Innovation AI's GPU orchestration and AI infrastructure management technology, providing public and private sector organisations with secure, in-country access to AI computing resources. The deal enables the deployment and scaling of autonomous AI workloads within UAE jurisdiction, keeping data, models, and infrastructure subject to national cybersecurity frameworks.

The MoU was signed at the Digital Readiness Retreat 2026 in Dubai in the presence of Dr Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, head of the UAE Cyber Security Council. Collaboration areas include sovereign AI platform development, GPU resource management, and joint go-to-market initiatives. The agreement extends du's growing portfolio of AI-focused partnerships and reinforces du Tech's positioning as a sovereign infrastructure enabler.
