Canva to set up regional headquarters in Dubai to support SMEs

Canva will establish its regional headquarters in Dubai following an agreement with the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, reinforcing the emirate’s position as a hub for global technology companies.

Signed during the World Governments Summit 2026, the partnership aims to support more than 250,000 small and medium-sized enterprises and individuals across the digital sector over the next five years.

Under the agreement, Canva will expand its regional operations from Dubai and provide newly established SMEs in the UAE with access to digital design, productivity and content creation tools. The initiative aligns with Dubai’s digital transformation and artificial intelligence objectives under the D33 economic agenda.

Officials said the move will help strengthen the emirate’s creative and digital ecosystem while giving regional businesses easier access to scalable visual communication tools.
