Alpha Dhabi H1 net profit surges 48% to AED 9.8bn

Abu Dhabi-listed Alpha Dhabi Holding posted a 48% year-on-year increase in net profit to AED 9.8 billion for the first half of 2026, with revenue rising 5% to AED 37.6 billion and adjusted EBITDA climbing 7% to AED 9.3 billion.

Profit margins expanded by 8 percentage points, while total assets grew to AED 230 billion from AED 214 billion at end-2025, with total equity reaching AED 110 billion. Fair value gains from investments reached AED 3.7 billion, driven by the group's positions in AI and technology companies including SpaceX, Cerebras, and Anthropic.

The strong H1 performance follows a record full-year 2025, in which Alpha Dhabi posted revenue of AED 78.8 billion and net profit of AED 15 billion. The group's diversified portfolio spans more than 250 companies across real estate, industrial, construction, and services sectors. Chairman Mohamed Thani Murshed Ghannam Al Rumaithi attributed the results to disciplined capital allocation and continued expansion into high-growth industries.
